Overview Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher to teach effective swimming and water safety, helping grow our swim program. The role may require mornings, evenings and weekends, and requires empathy to the needs of the classes. The facility is indoor and operates year-round. This position offers future growth within the industry and increased hours as numbers build. Responsibilities Teach effective swimming and water safety to participants. Deliver engaging, energetic, and safety‑mocused instruction. Work mornings, evenings and weekends as required. Collaborate with team members with minimal supervision. Qualifications Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – or equivalent Infants and Preschool qualifications preferred Pool Lifeguard Qualifications would be preferred but not essential Skills & Attributes Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends; empathetic to class needs Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Employment details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industry: Recreational Facilities Community and safety We are committed to providing a child safe environment.
