Overview of Our Role Are you passionate about building secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions? We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to help shape and maintain our modern Kubernetes infrastructure, supporting our teams in delivering innovative applications with confidence. In this role, you’ll work with cutting‑edge tools and technologies like AWS EKS, Rancher, GitLab, StackState, Grafana, ArgoCD, External Secrets Operator, Kyverno, and Terraform. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, automation, and observability while also strengthening disaster recovery processes. More than just maintaining infrastructure, you’ll be a key collaborator —working alongside development teams to empower innovation , enhance platform resilience, and drive Kubernetes adoption across the organisation. If you enjoy problem‑solving, sharing ideas, and working in a supportive environment where your contributions make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you Responsibilities / What you’ll be doing Shape and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability. Automate deployments using GitOps tools like ArgoCD and IaC tools such as Terraform. Implement and enforce security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, TLS, and secrets management. Integrate observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, StackState, AWS CloudWatch) to enhance performance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment to deliver resilient platforms. Strengthen disaster recovery processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications / Certifications & Skills Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent experience. Hands‑on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production (AWS EKS, Rancher). Strong focus on security best practices (RBAC, network policies, TLS, secrets management). Experience with observability tools (Grafana, StackState, AWS CloudWatch). Proficiency in automating deployments with GitOps tools (ArgoCD) and IaC (Terraform). Collaborative mindset, working closely with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment. Knowledge of AWS services integration with EKS. Passion for continuous improvement and applying CI/CD best practices in GitLab. Awareness of data security and compliance, ensuring governance and best practices are embedded.
