Hydraulic Designer / Engineer Join W3Global, a growing engineering consultancy delivering innovative and practical Hydraulic, Mechanical, and Electrical building services designs. Based in Brisbane's southside, the team supports Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Residential, Retail & Fitouts sectors, delivering high‑quality, timely solutions through a collaborative culture and hands‑on approach. We're looking for a motivated Hydraulic Design Engineer (Intermediate to Experienced) or an experienced plumber ready to step off the tools, to join our friendly, professional team. Applicants must be based in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, or surrounding areas. About the Role This technically focused, hands‑on role is ideal for someone passionate about hydraulic building services design, delivering excellent project outcomes. You will work closely with architects, builders, contractors and developers to provide hydraulic design solutions from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities Design hydraulic systems, including schematics, drawings, specifications and calculations Conduct site investigations and contribute to technical reporting Support project delivery across multiple sectors Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality outcomes Manage project timelines, priorities and budgets effectively Candidates We’re Looking For Qualified Plumbers looking to 'Get off the Tools' and move into design/consulting work Intermediate to Experienced Hydraulic Engineers Hydraulic Drafters/Designers with some consultancy experience What You’ll Have Knowledge of hydraulic building services systems and relevant Australian Standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills A collaborative attitude and ability to work autonomously Strong time management and high attention to detail Australian citizenship or full working rights in Australia Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at W3Global by 2x.
