The Role As an Occupational Therapist , they will support clients across the lifespan, utilizing various funding models to help them achieve their physical goals. They will have the autonomy to structure their day to meet key deliverables while providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, and services in home and community settings across the Brisbane Region. Key Responsibilities Managing a paediatric and adult caseload across multiple funding streams (e.g., NDIS, HCP, CHSP, DVA). Conducting clinical assessments and treating physical and neurological conditions. Providing simple and complex equipment prescriptions. Performing environmental assessments and home modifications to enhance accessibility and minimize fall risks. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and fellow occupational therapists, to develop and monitor care plans. Participating in multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate client needs, set care goals, and implement effective treatment strategies. Requirements A degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration. Experience conducting Functional Capacity Assessments (preferred). Strong communication skills (written and verbal), exceptional time management, and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. A valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation (travel expenses reimbursed). Experience supporting both young individuals with physical and neurological conditions as well as adults (preferred). A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Compliance with all mandatory vaccination requirements. A valid Australian National Police Check. Full working rights in Australia. A Medicare Provider Number (or willingness to obtain).
