Newtown Discount Drug Store is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional customer service. What you'll be doing Assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, inventory management, and record-keeping Interacting with customers to answer questions, provide information, and ensure a positive experience Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment Adhering to all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards Providing support to the pharmacy team as required What we're looking for Certificate II in Pharmacy Assistance or equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years' experience working in Pharmacy Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and technology A commitment to ongoing professional development What we offer At Newtown Discount Drug Store, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team.
