The Role We are seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to support our electrical teams across major project sites in Wollongong and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in the electrical industry and work alongside experienced electricians on high‑profile projects. Key Responsibilities Assist qualified electricians with day‑to‑day electrical installation and construction activities Cable pulling, tray and conduit installation under supervision Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for works Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Assist with deliveries, loading and unloading of materials Follow all site safety procedures, SWMS, and company policies About You Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or labourer in construction or electrical works (preferred) Strong safety awareness and a proactive attitude Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors Essential Requirements White Card (Construction Induction) Current Driver’s Licence (preferred) Ability to pass site‑specific inductions and medical requirements What We Offer Ongoing work on long‑term projects Competitive rates and conditions under relevant agreements Supportive team environment with strong safety culture Opportunity for career progression within ARA Electrical Potential pathway into an electrical apprenticeship for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr
