Food and Domestic Assistant - Aged Care Residential Services An opportunity to work with a leading regional health service Salary Packaging to boost your take home pay The Position Job Reference: 3266 Position Title: Food and Domestic Assistant Classification: IN13 - IN14 Salary per hour (exc. super): $25.74 - $27.08 Hours per fortnight: up to 72 - Multiple positions available Employment Status: Ongoing Part Time We're looking for a reliable and motivated Food and Domestic Services Assistant to join our team. This role involves general kitchen and cleaning duties, including dishwashing, mopping, safe chemical use, and maintaining a clean work environment. You'll assist with meal delivery, manage stock rotation, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. You'll also contribute to a safe, supportive environment by reporting maintenance issues, attending staff training, and working closely with ward staff to meet residents' dietary needs. A sound understanding of aged care standards, including reporting requirements and resident wellbeing, is essential.
