Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS – Australia Join Global Medics, partnering with the Central Coast Local Health District to recruit a Staff Specialist/Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Come for the beauty, stay for the lifestyle Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership to the team and ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the service. Provide clinical governance to the team including expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families in CYMHS. Provide professional leadership in the area of Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment and provide clinical leadership in clinical meetings such as MDT care reviews. Perform psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management of young people and their families. Essential Selection Criteria Coming from the UK – Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom. Other Countries – Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent. Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health. Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
