Key Responsibilities Support the Waste and Cleaning Lead with innovation, change, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with planning, coordination and evaluation of operational objectives and projects. Develop, implement and review programs, tasks and projects against KPIs and standards. Review and update policies, procedures and work practices to improve efficiency. Conduct research, trials and field testing to identify improvement opportunities. Deliver the annual waste projects program in line with the City’s Waste Plan and long-term financial plans. Assist with feasibility studies, planning activities and budget preparation. Support procurement processes including tenders, EOI and quotations, and participate in evaluation panels. Selection Criteria Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar analytical role. Strong experience researching, scoping, implementing and reporting on technical projects. Ability to prepare business cases, reports and technical documents with complex financial details. Knowledge of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007 and relevant State and Local Government legislation. Tertiary qualification in business administration, project management or related field. Experience within Local Government and understanding of approval processes.
