Overview Sonic HealthPlus Darwin in the Northern Territory (NT) has a full-time / part-time opportunity for a GP to join their busy private billing community practice. The clinic is located in the heart of Darwin CBD on Smith Street. The clinic offers a professional and friendly environment supported by an extensive team consisting of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and medical support staff who work together to deliver a vast range of high-quality services to meet our clients and patient's needs. The clinic runs the full suite of occupational medicine : spirometry, audiometry, DAS, EP, swim tests, FFA, serology, vaccinations, BFORT, AMSA, OGUK, Divers, Drivers, Aviation, Rail Cat, Health Surveillance, onsite DAS and EP work as well as ergonomic work onsite. Many of our team members have been working together since we first opened in 2005, originally on Cavanagh Street. Since then, we have welcomed some great, local and international talent. Responsibilities This role will provide exposure to all aspects of general practice and occupational health medicine, including : Pre-employment medical assessments Family medicine Men's & women's health Occupational health assessments Acute injury treatment and management Travel medicine Skin screening Chronic disease management Immunisations Minor surgery.
