We’re looking for an enthusiastic Piggery Attendant to join our farming team. This position is perfect for someone wanting to develop a career in agriculture . You’ll build on your knowledge in livestock production by working alongside experienced farm staff, learning all aspects of pig care, livestock production, and animal welfare, with the chance to engage in clear development opportunities. Reporting to the Farm Manager , this role is based 30 minutes north of Echuca, VIC, on one of our pig grow‑out facilities. The purpose of this role is to be a key player in keeping our pigs healthy, happy and well cared for. SunPork Company Benefits Opportunity to build on your experience in agriculture or livestock production, with full training and support to further grow your career The chance to earn a Certificate III in Pork Production Discounts at over 400 retailers - including big brand names Become a part of a supportive and knowledgeable farm team About the Role As our next best animal attendant, you’ll be responsible for: Feeding, monitoring and caring for our pigs to ensure top‑notch animal health and welfare Carrying out health checks, administering treatments and following vaccination programs as advised Maintaining clean pens, equipment and facilities to the highest standards Recording animal health and production data accurately Learning and applying biosecurity and safety practices About You In welcoming someone into our SunPork community, our ideal candidate will have: 1‑2 years of experience as a farm hand within a piggery or similar role Passionate about animal welfare and agriculture A positive can‑do attitude paired with a keenness to learn, develop and progress within the company Availability to work weekends and public holidays when needed Physical fitness and comfortable hands‑on farm work SunPork Group is an equal opportunity employer.
