Elderbloom is currently seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role in a small, community focused, not-for-profit residential and retirement living provider, offering a range of high-quality aged care accommodation and support services. This role is for a 65-bed home facility, that enables you to build deeper connections with the residents, staff and stakeholders. Onsite support including Clinical Care Manager and Administration coordinator. Management support including a quality & governance manager, quality support officer and clinical lead. Responsibilities Operational management of the aged care facility. Manage and empower staff to excel by providing support, direction and guidance Hold full profit and loss responsibility, driving funding, managing costs, overseeing the roster and maximising resources to achieve financial targets Raise the bar and ensure the facility operates in line with aged care legislation Conduct audits and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives Develop productive relationships with external stakeholders and the community to achieve occupancy targets Ensure the delivery of superb clinical and customer service, including managing feedback and complaints. Driving positive changes and encouraging best-practice. Qualifications Be a registered with AHPRA as registered nurse. Have residential care manager experience. Have experience in and passion for change management and continuous improvement Have excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills Want to contribute at an organisational level to improve care and services for our older population. Proof of current flu vaccination status. Current National Police Certificate (minimum of 6 months) or willing to undergo a Criminal Clerance Check. Right to work in Australia.
