About The Role We are looking for a motivated New Graduate Social Worker to join our dynamic John Hunter Hospital Social Work service. You will be supported to progress your placement learning to clinical proficiency over a 12‑month period within the supportive environment of the John Hunter Social Work team. You will have the opportunity to rotate across teams and clinical areas, developing Social Work skills across varied clinical settings. We are committed to supporting our staff with ongoing professional development, structured clinical supervision, and a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You’ll have access to a supported learning program, peer support, education opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the JHH Social Work on‑call roster, after an appropriate induction and orientation period. About You We are looking for a newly qualified Social Worker, who is keen to further their experience and learning in hospital‑based Social Work.
