Primary Responsibility Americold is recruiting a Team Manager at our Prospect, New South Wales site who is experienced in providing strong operational leadership to a team of frontline workers, whilst developing the team's skill set and supporting other site leaders. You would manage and coordinate all processes and activities during the shift to deliver outstanding customer service. As the Team Manager, you will work a Monday–Friday roster on the afternoon shift. What You’ll Do Planning and controlling the KPI performance of a team, and managing all aspects of labour Maintaining compliance with health and safety and driving a safety culture Co‑ordinating and managing work with subcontractors and internal departments Managing employee performance and creating development pathways What Experience And Education You Need Ideally, you are someone with exceptional attention to detail who prides themselves on meeting deadlines and maintaining high productivity. Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience Demonstrated experience in managing large teams Knowledge of distribution operations Strong people‑management skills Cross‑functional leadership with multiple teams Experience in effective decision‑making in a fast‑moving business environment What Could Set You Apart Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals Ability to reason, negotiate, instruct, persuade, or speak with others Ability to pay close attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff Physical Requirements & Abilities The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
