About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Skyfields by Perth Airport team as we embark on one of Australia's largest urban development projects. Perth Airport is investing more than $5 billion in new infrastructure to support airline partners, offering more services to new destinations and an improved customer experience. This will be the largest privately funded build in Western Australia for the last 30 years and will deliver one airport for all flight services in a central location. As the Airport's property division, Skyfields is one of WA's largest private landlords with an established $1.5 billion portfolio. The 2,105-hectare Airport Estate is located just 12 kilometres from Perth's CBD, with five interconnected precincts that are home to a diverse mix of industries and businesses: retail, office park, industrial and aviation. The One Airport project will unlock new development opportunities across the Estate, expanding Skyfields' portfolio and delivering new amenities and destinations for the people of WA, as well as visitors and tourists. With ongoing growth across our Skyfields portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join us on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract to deliver property management activities that optimise returns and uphold a high-quality building portfolio aligned with Perth Airport's vision and objectives. As Assistant Property Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan, administer and manage the commercial areas of the Airport Estate, while driving income generation through effective development and strategic management of these assets: Support the administration of property lease agreements, including rent reviews, renewals, compliance, and terminations. Manage outgoings processes, including estimates, payments, and recovery of rates and taxes. Assist with budgeting, reporting, audits, and procurement activities. Maintain accurate tenant records, access card systems, and coordinate contractor access. Contribute to building audits, asset planning, and market research to keep the team informed. Ensure safety and compliance across the Airport Estate through risk management and building procedures. Act as a key liaison with internal teams to ensure smooth property operations and compliance. Build strong tenant relationships by addressing needs, resolving issues, and supporting long-term tenure strategies. Coordinate contractors and suppliers for building management and maintenance activities. Assist with leasing activities, including preparing responses to EOIs, negotiating commercial terms, and managing vacancies. Support tenant retention programs and implement strategies to maximise portfolio performance. Conduct market research and maintain industry networks to identify opportunities and improve leasing arrangements. About You Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial property management, lease administration, or property finance. Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential. Familiarity with budgeting, reporting, and variable outgoings audits is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MRI or similar property management software. Collaborative and approachable, with the ability to build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates integrity and reliability by meeting commitments, earning trust, and instilling confidence. About Us We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work / life integration. Our competitive remuneration package comes with additional company benefits including free parking. Perth Airport is an Equal Opportunities Employer. We are committed to building an equitable and diverse workforce representative of the community we serve. We encourage and welcome applications from all communities and backgrounds. Doing the right thing by the planet and future generations is important to us. At PAPL we place a strong emphasis on embedding sustainability throughout our business strategy and operations. We remain steadfast in our commitment to driving ESPG (Environmental, Social, People, Governance) performance across our value chain and areas that have material environmental and social impact. If this sounds like you, please get in touch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
