The successful applicant will work closely with our clients and exploration team to deliver a superior exploration field consulting services to clients. WHO we are looking for to join our Exploration Contracting Team To us, rocks and minerals tell stories that can make or break mining operations. To our geologists, what they do is not a job, but a passion. Is this you? Ideally, you will have these capabilities and experience in your toolkit: rig supervision and logging; assisting with project planning and execution; ability to work with minimal supervision excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience liaising with drilling contractors and field personnel some experience with standard geological database packages, data interpretation, and reporting skills; safety focus to drive a positive safety culture in the field and promote a NO HARM approach to undertaking tasks; assisting with project planning and execution; diverse commodity experience experience working in remote locations, for example Papua New Guinea. To be considered you will need : flexibility to work in field for 2-week stints; tertiary qualification (BSc or Higher) in geology or geoscience; 5 years or more experience in an Exploration Geologist role; 4WD training and hold certificate of completion; current Australian remote first aid certificate (including current CPR); National Police Clearance; ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen; and ability to work long periods in remote environments.
