Administration Officer Child Health, Queensland Health Join a Fast-Paced, Purpose-Driven Maternal, Child and Youth Health Team We’re looking for an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join the North West Hospital and Health Service. In this permanent full-time role, you’ll provide efficient administrative support that keeps clinics running smoothly and ensures patients and clinicians receive timely, professional assistance. North West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Friendly communities Regional, rural and remote incentives About the role As the Administration Officer Child Health, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination and smooth delivery of the Maternal, Child and Youth Health service. This permanent full‑time position provides administrative, scheduling and customer service support to a multidisciplinary team focused on early intervention, health monitoring and health promotion for children and families. Responsibilities Coordinate clinic access, appointments and follow‑up for Maternal, Child and Youth Health services. Maintain essential resources and systems, including ordering supplies and managing service requirements. Manage patient bookings, waitlist processes, cancellations and rescheduling using relevant information systems. Contribute to a safe, high‑quality service by following established policies, procedures and continuous improvement practices. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. Pre‑employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. A period of probation may apply.
