About the Role Reporting to the Manager on Duty or On-Site Donation Captain at our Moorabbin store , you will be responsible for accepting donations (treasures) on behalf of our not-for-profit partners. You will wow our donors with your gratitude, helping them understand how their donation makes a difference and educating them on the wonderful work of our not-for-profit partners. Greeting donors, thanking them for their donation Handling all donations with care and respect Educating donors and customers on the work of our not-for-profit partners Proudly embracing our purpose to Champion Reuse Sharing the Savers story Working with your team to make sure you all meet daily production targets Supporting our safety culture About You To ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following : Availability for part-time hours – Monday to Sunday between 9am - 9pm A team player – you love working in a team, and enjoy helping others to meet team goals Experience working in a fast-paced environment – you might have worked in retail, production, warehousing or hospitality Celebrate uniqueness – we are made up of people from many different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, all with something special to contribute Impact driven – you want to make an impact on your team and your community Customer focused – we make service count, so you will need to be passionate about providing an exceptional experience at every interaction with our valued customers and donors Eager to learn – you are always looking to find a better way, adapt and improve Do the right thing – you are passionate about standing up for what's right and doing you say you will We are a team of thrifters, always searching for the unique and one-of-a-kinds.
