Cafe Worker/Aviation Protection Officer Role We have a unique role on offer- Cafe worker and Aviation Protection Officer Role based at the Emerald Airport on a Part Time ongoing Basis. We are currently looking for an experienced Café worker to work at Emerald Airport on a Part Time basis. The successful applicant will also be enrolled in our Transport Protection Officer Course to become an Aviation Protection Officer and work as required as an APO. You must have: Extensive barista skills and a passion for coffee. Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry (desirable). Food Handlers Certificate and RSA. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Professional attitude, punctuality, reliability, and dependability. Self‑motivated, proactive, and team‑oriented. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights. Handle cashiering services, including float balance, voucher redemption, and daily shift reporting. Dispense hot beverages and assist with short‑order cooking. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. The ability to complete/obtain a FULLY PAID Transport Security Protection Course. The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - Full Criminal History Check. Full unrestricted working rights. The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments. Must be 18 years+ and available to start in January 2026. What we offer you: Secure ongoing work.
