A fantastic opportunity has become available for a full‑time Machinist to support our team in Wangara . This position will report to the Automation Supervisor and your main responsibilities will be: Responsibilities Machining and fitting of jobs as instructed by Supervisor. Maintenance of all machining/rotary equipment. Ensure all work performed meets the requirements of standards/process instructions as required by the workshop Supervisor. Responsibility of job numbers and material traceability numbers visible on all components. Work within a team environment with a focus on safety, quality. Carry out testing as required. Dimensional inspections and reporting. Fault find and resolve problems. Ordering of machining consumables. Follow all CWS safety quality procedures. Desired qualifications Trade certificate is essential for this role. Previous experience competently operating lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines. Experience in engineering environment, workshop, or on‑site preferable. Must be willing to work overtime and shift work. Ability to work nights if required. Experience in valve repair and troubleshooting desired. Able to work efficiently and safely with minimum supervision. Requirements Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly from detailed practical training. Team oriented. Ability to work within a small team to achieve deadlines. We offer Market competitive pay + superannuation.
