Sydney IT & Telecomms Software - Developer Iconic Australian finance company Permanent role, excellent salary & benefits Dynamic project & large program of work Senior DevOps Lead This is a critical role for an experienced Senior DevOps Lead to join this renowned financial services organisation and work on a major system and platform launch. As a key member of the Engineering DevOps Practice, you will help lead and co-ordinate Automation and DevOps activities between Solution Engineering, QE&T and Infrastructure, as well as a number of major external partners. Key responsibilities include : Driving automation in setup, config. & the operation of environments Ensuring CI / CD design & engineering processes adhere to standards Implementing automation capabilities Becoming an SME of the overall toolsets / processes Embed best practices into the CI / CD process. Whilst this isn’t a people leadership role, you’ll play a key role in mentoring team members, and becoming a trusted advisor to very senior stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you must have : Worked with, and delivered on, enterprise CI / CD capabilities and tools Deep experience of cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation Cloud Engineering experience on public, private & hybrid cloud Experience with cloud deployment & orchestration at scale Knowledge of containerisation concepts & implementation Experience with Design Governance Experience with CI / CD tools – GitLab, GitHub, Cloud Build, CodeBuild Strong knowledge of AWS Services You will ideally be from a broad Consulting background Next steps… This is an incredible opportunity to work on a very high profile program of work, so please apply today by clicking “Apply Now” or email your CV and covering letter to duom.au.
