About the Role Reporting to the Manager WHSEQ – Civil & Infrastructure, this role provides vital support to project teams in implementing WHSEQ systems and driving compliance with company standards. You’ll play a key role in embedding our Safety Certainty 2.0 Program, supporting operational teams and ensuring every site is a safe and productive workplace. What You Will Do Assist project teams in implementing the Safety Certainty 2.0 Program and SIFER tools. Conduct SIFER self‑assessments, Safe Act Observations and support risk management processes. Mentor operational teams in WHSEQ best practices and the use of company tools and systems. Support development and review of Project Risk Registers, SWMSs and JSEAs. Lead incident investigations, After Action Reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor training and induction compliance and ensure BMS and WHSEQ processes are implemented effectively. Prepare and communicate lessons learned, bulletins and positive WHSEQ initiatives. Participate in audits, toolbox talks, pre‑starts and client meetings to promote WHSEQ excellence. What You Will Bring Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (mandatory). Minimum 3 years’ experience in WHSEQ and 5 years in the construction industry. Sound knowledge of WHSEQ principles and civil construction methodologies. Strong communication and mentoring skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. First Aid qualification and Construction Industry White Card (required). ICAM Investigation and/or Audit qualifications (desirable). Why Join McMahon Services?
