The Role
We’re after a savvy multiskilled producer to deliver our major campaigns and special projects for radio and online. You’ll be working across triple j, triple j Unearthed and Double J on things like the Hottest 100, NAIDOC week, One Night Stand and Mardi Gras. You’ll mostly be planning and co-ordinating campaigns (so a love of organisation, deadlines & spreadsheets is required) but could be required to research, plan and produce interviews, packages, articles and more.
You love music, can work with all sorts of creative people, and have great ideas to develop diverse content that our target audience loves.
A note that this role occasionally requires working on weekends, adjusted hours (earlier or later) and across peak times of the year in order to deliver campaign outcomes.
The Job
Work with event partners to produce high quality, engaging live events for triple j, including on-ground logistics, talent management, rostering, scheduling and content plans.
Coordinate the music rights, legal rights and contracts for special projects across radio, live events and online.
Coordinate the production of relevant and engaging online event content for the triple j and Unearthed sites, app and social media.
About You
You’re a whiz with radio production, able to edit audio and mix packages with music, research interviews and produce creative content. You love music and you’re passionate about new sounds in addition to possessing a deep understanding of triple j’s young audience and why/how triple j is different to other media.
You will also demonstrate the following attributes:
Sound working knowledge and experience in operating digital broadcast systems and production equipment
Proven experience planning and rolling out media campaigns
Advanced communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Organisation skills that bring together all the elements that go into an engaging media campaign across radio, online and social media
