The Role Reporting to the Head of Community Development , the successful candidate will: Support the planning and delivery of College and community events such as Open Day, Father’s Day Breakfast, Celebration Evenings, and other key activities. Assist with event logistics including venue set‑up and pack‑down, catering, décor, AV coordination, and ticketing. Support the promotion of College events and initiatives through newsletters, social media, and website updates. Assist with photography and the preparation of digital and printed materials in line with College branding. Maintain accurate event documentation, contact lists, and alumni databases. Work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of events that reflect the professionalism and values of the College. This is a full‑time, ongoing School Officer position, working within a collaborative and dynamic team environment. To Be Successful, You Will Demonstrate strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for building community connections. Have experience in event coordination, marketing, communications, or community engagement (experience within an educational or not‑for‑profit environment will be highly regarded). Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with basic skills in digital design tools (e.g. Canva or Adobe Suite) and social media platforms. Display initiative, flexibility, and a positive, can‑do attitude. Uphold and reflect the values and Anglican ethos of the College in all interactions. In addition, you must hold or be able to hold a current working with children check (Blue Card).
