At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain the manufacturing test process for Morse Micro Wi-Fi products.Drive technical issue resolution during NPI to enable timely readiness of RF testing facilities and related equipment.Drive yield analysis and root-cause analysis during production operations, and coordinate change projects to improve yieldWork with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers) to plan, design, build and commission RF test facilities.Work together with RF test engineers and technicians to conduct testing of engineering and production devicesConduct risk assessments and process improvement initiativesWork closely with factory teams to enable RF testing in development & mass production.Attend and drive technical meetings with engineers to track and follow-up blocking issues.Qualifications / Experience / SkillsBackground education or training in wireless communications systems, signal processing, RF propagation, radio / WLAN / telecommunication or relevant fieldsExperience working in a dynamic engineering/development environmentExperience in conducting yield analysis and reporting in a production environment, liaising with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers)Must be able to participate in technical discussions related to RF testing with the cross-functional teams.Applied knowledge of RF components, testing and integrated circuitsExposure to test systems and test equipment used in wireless technology verification, such as Keysight / Agilent equipmentKnowledge of Wi-Fi technology is required.General knowledge of telecommunication standards is a plus.Strong problem solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques is required.Ability to solder and assembly experience is a plusWhat we offer:Competitive salary and stock option package10 days work remote from anywhere in the worldOpportunity to work at a cutting-edge startup companyChance to make a significant impact on the future of wireless technologyCollaborative and supportive work environmentHow to apply:If you are interested in building the first 802.11ah chipset together with the inventors of Wi-Fi, then send us your resume and application letter and tell us why you should become Morse Micro’s next RF Test Engineer.Check out what it is like to work for us:
