We are continuing to experience strong growth and are pleased to announce an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst position based in Melbourne, Australia . This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work up to four days a week. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Inventory Planning and will play a critical part in driving accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with overall inventory and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities Perform historical sales analysis and forecast future sales. Create and maintain purchase orders throughout the lifecycle to ensure accurate supply signals. Maintain inventory availability among distribution centers to meet sales requirements. Maintain various inventory projection models. Monitor and report key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turnover. Communicate with vendors and various parties within the organization to ensure timely inventory replenishment and order fulfillment. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning and forecasting University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar Candidates with ASCI/ASCM Certifications an asset. Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Detail‑oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi‑task. Proficiency in English Can work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team. Previous inventory planning and/or demand planning experience is essential. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or StockIQ is an asset. Proficiency in analytical modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be considered a strong advantage. Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and planning concepts Comfortable collaborating remotely with global inventory, procurement, and sales teams across multiple regions and time zones. A reliable internet connection is required when working remotely. Strong problem‑solving skills. Strong, proactive communication skills are critical for success in this role.
