Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Water to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The role involves design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines. Key responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations and modelling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications. Responsibilities Design, review and oversee engineering solutions for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Conduct site investigations, hydraulic and structural calculations, and modelling. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and consulting documentation. Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams. Build strong client relationships and provide technical guidance. Qualifications Holding a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline. Significant experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or hydraulic and conveyance design. Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes. Experience managing medium to large engineering design projects within HSEQ frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel as required.
