Pool Technician

We're looking for a skilled Pool Technician to join our team at Poolwerx Kotara in Newcastle, NSW. As a full-time Pool Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pool maintenance and repair services to our valued residential and commercial clients. Whether it's servicing pool equipment, diagnosing and fixing issues, or performing water testing and chemical treatments, you'll play a vital role in keeping our clients' pools in pristine condition all year round. What you'll be doing Perform regular pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and backwashing filters Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators Conduct water testing and balance chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality Advise clients on the best pool care practices and recommend solutions to any issues Maintain detailed records of all service work and provide clients with detailed reports Liaise with clients to schedule appointments and provide timely, professional service What we're looking for Relevant qualifications or experience in pool maintenance and repair Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to diagnose and fix pool equipment Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high‑quality work A valid driver's licence What we offer Competitive salary and opportunities for career progression Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development Supportive team environment and access to the latest pool industry technologies Flexible work arrangements and a focus on work‑life balance About us Poolwerx Kotara is part of the Poolwerx network, Australia's leading pool and spa care franchise.
