The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking with plans on building a career in the hospitality industry If you understand that you 100% CAN have fun at work whilst delivering great service, then this job is the job for you. Key Responsibilities Complete TAFE training in Commercial cookery; Adhere to strict Food Safety guidelines; Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment; Prepare and present meals for a quality catering outlet; Perform any other duties delegated by the Executive Chef. About You Reliable and punctual – own transport preferred but not essential; Able to use initiative and prioritize tasks; Able to follow instructions; Able to conduct all operations with accuracy and quality of work; Able to work under high pressure; Dedicated with an exceptional work ethic. Key Requirements Have a passion for cooking; Exceptional time management, communication and organizational skills; Provide excellent customer service and a passion for hospitality; Ability to follow specific directions and requests; Flexible roster including nights, weekends and split shifts; Be creative; Work and operate as part of a team; Be well groomed and presented; Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
