Full Stack Developer NSW Government Department - hybrid Eveleigh + WFH - ASAP start - initial assignment until 15th May 2026.Pay rate: $850 - $950 per day + super The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications leveraging AWS cloud services and modern front-end technologies. Key Accountabilities Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using Vue.js 3, ensuring responsive and performant front-end experiences. Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs leveraging Node.js, Python, or Java. Design, deploy, and optimise AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket or similar tools to enable automated deployment and testing. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other developers to deliver features on tight timelines. Ensure application security and adherence to AWS best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot production issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Vue.js, AWS services, and full stack development methodologies. Selection Criteria Extensive experience with Vue.js 3, including composition API, Node.js TypeScript and Vue Router. Strong full stack development skills with backend experience in Node.js, Java, or similar languages. Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and Terraform. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevOps best practices. Strong problem‑solving abilities and collaborative working style.
