About the role As the 2IC Greenkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the green spaces and turf areas ensuring they remain lush, healthy, and resilient. Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands‑on role involves maintaining and enhancing turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional results. If you have a passion for turf management, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to environmental sustainability, then we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces. Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices. Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques. Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.
