Join to apply for the Senior Project Manager - Hays role at Bendigo Advertiser Seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join a local organisation and support a Data Platform Uplift Your new company is a critical transformation project focused on modernising data platforms. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative involving the decommissioning of a legacy platform and migration of data to Microsoft Fabric. As Project Manager, you will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of this data migration program, including rebuild in Microsoft Fabric, cutover, and decommissioning. You will coordinate technical delivery across multiple agile squads under a hybrid governance model (traditional PMP and agile), ensuring alignment between vendors, internal teams, and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities Managing vendor relationships and internal squads Overseeing schedule, risks, issues, and budget Driving stakeholder engagement and maintaining delivery momentum Ensuring successful migration and transition to operations What you'll need to succeed Strong background in data engineering, data replatforming, and business analytics projects Experience coordinating technical delivery across multiple agile squads Proficiency in Jira and Confluence Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and governance Ability to manage challenging stakeholders with confidence and assertiveness Detail‑oriented and highly organised with a focus on deadlines What you'll get in return An opportunity to lead a critical project in a collaborative environment, working with cutting‑edge technologies in a dedicated team.
