What You’ll Be Doing Manage and control work orders and quote requests from start to finish Source, compile, and follow up contractor quotes within set timeframes Issue and monitor work orders, ensuring urgent requests are handled promptly Review quotes for accuracy, quality, and cost‑effectiveness Maintain scheduled works and periodic maintenance tasks Communicate professionally with contractors, customers, and on‑site contacts Build strong relationships with contractors and understand our building network Arrange compliance reports and annual inspections Keep systems updated and ensure all communications are centrally recorded Respond to calls and emails with speed and care What You’ll Bring Experience in property maintenance or strata industry (highly desired) Certificate of Registration (if based in NSW) Strong analytical and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Dynamics Ability to read plans of subdivisions Customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills High attention to detail and a hands‑on approach A compassionate, solutions‑focused attitude Why You’ll Love Working Here Flexible hybrid working model Career development and training opportunities Wellbeing perks like birthday leave and the option to purchase extra leave A supportive team that values your contribution About Smarter Communities Smarter Communities is one of Australia’s largest privately owned community management companies.
