You will be responsible for all aspects of concrete work from preparation to finishing, on a range of projects performed by a committed civil engineering company. About The Role Experience using curb and gutter machines is highly desired (not essential) and will be viewed to start on the higher rate of pay. $35.59 - $37.25/hour + daily travel allowance of $21.94 + OT. Monday-Friday (Ongoing Works). Works across both Central Coast and Newcastle location. ASAP Start for the right person. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with the preparation and pouring of concrete foundations, footpaths, kerbs, and gutters. Mixing, spreading, and pouring concrete with precision and care. Using hand and power tools to smooth, shape, and finish concrete surfaces. Pitching in with general labouring duties to keep the job running smoothly. Working closely with other trades to get the job done right, on time. Making sure every pour meets quality and safety standards—we don’t cut corners. Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and ready for the next task. What You’ll Bring ✅ Previous experience in concreting works — you know your stuff ✅ Experience in kerb and gutter machinery is highly regarded . ✅ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screening . ✅ White Card (Construction Induction) – essential. ✅ Physically fit, reliable, and ready to work outdoors. ✅ A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and attention to detail. ✅ Driver’s licence and reliable transport.
