Prezzee, the forefront of digital gifting innovation, is seeking a dynamic Group Financial Controller to drive financial control, reporting, and operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in shaping Prezzee's financial future and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Hybrid role based in Sydney, AustraliaAbout The Roleimplement and supervise finance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.Lead initiatives to enhance reporting, controls, and adherence to group policies.Conduct risk management processes collaboratively to mitigate financial risks effectively.Engage with senior leaders across the business to understand and respond to new products, expansions, and initiatives impacting regulatory and financial control.Act as a centre of excellence for technical accounting matters, maintaining updated knowledge of standards.Manage the preparation of annual financial reports and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax and financial regulatory reporting, maintaining financial integrity.Implement transfer pricing and other global accounting policiesCollaborate with FP&A to deliver insightful management reports and analyses.Financial Operations:Improve processes and controls surrounding payment flows and stock reconciliations.Oversee treasury management, optimising liquidity.Supervise a team of accountants, both internally and offshore, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.In conjunction with FP&A, oversee all budgeting processes in line with delegated authorities’ approvals.What We're Looking For:CPA/CA/ACA with extensive experience in financial leadership roles.Experience with scale-up companies and/or technology companiesLarge accounting firm experience is a plusStrong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for Workday.Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organisational goals and drive sustainable growth.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.We run an incentive scheme based on both company-wide targets and individual performanceGenerous benefits including employee referral program and staff discountsRegularly have virtual and face-to-face events to help us bond and maintain our community vibe.Prezzee Flex: genuine flexibility is our natural norm with our hybrid work environment.
