Workwear Apparel Designer About the Role We're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Workwear Apparel Designer to join our growing in-house design team based in Hurstville. Reporting to the Head of Retail Merchandising, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our RSEA private label brands — including Blue Rapta, ELEVEN, Hammer and Field, SA1NT WORKS, and Amelia. Candidates must have current Australian work authorisation as sponsorship is not available for this position. You'll lead design across workwear and lifestyle categories, deliver standout B2B client solutions, and keep us ahead of industry trends through a strong commercial lens. This is your chance to make a real impact in a fast‑paced, hands‑on role that supports both creative exploration and business growth. What You’ll Be Doing Lead end‑to‑end design across apparel categories, from concept to delivery Translate trends into commercial workwear and lifestyle pieces Support creative strategy and campaign timelines across multiple functions Collaborate with Marketing and B2B Sales on client‑focused design projects Partner with local and offshore manufacturers to deliver on time and to spec Present concepts with confidence to internal stakeholders and external partners Champion brand consistency across all visual and design outputs Contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing creative team culture What You’ll Bring Degree in Design (Fashion, Apparel or similar) or equivalent experience Minimum 5+ years experience in a Senior Design role, ideally in Workwear or Apparel Minimum 5+ years experience in senior apparel design roles with any apparel category being acceptable for this workwear design position Workwear design experience is specifically required for this position Strong technical skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel Commercial acumen — you understand RRPs, margins and how to engineer for success Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to balance creativity with practicality and deadlines A collaborative approach with a willingness to mentor and support others Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this position Why RSEA Safety?
