Primary objective The Manager Northern Territory Remote Aboriginal Investment (NTRAI) provides high level project management coordination, support and advice on the Northern Territory Remote Aboriginal Investment Partnership Agreement. The Manager will be required to support the NT Government representative on the NTRAI Joint Steering Committee, coordinate internal NT Government oversight of investment package and lead the coordination and reporting of investment from across NT Government agencies. Key duties and responsibilities Provide strategic advice, leadership and support to the Senior Executive Director, Deputy CEO, agency’s executives, Chief Minister’s Office and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs on NTRAI investment. Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of the NTRAI investment package including internal coordination of whole of government planning and reporting. Develop and maintain effective relationships, partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Respond to matters on behalf of the Senior Executive Director and Deputy CEO as it pertains to NTRAI investment and represent the business unit, using high level expertise and discretion in a variety of key departmental and whole-of-government committees, working groups, project teams and forums. Develop thorough research, prepare and contribute to correspondence, reports, submissions and other communications material as required. Selection criteria Essential Strong leadership, initiative, adaptability and ability to identify solutions and drive processes to meet strategic objectives. Superior interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, facilitation, cross-cultural communication and client-focus skills, and the proven ability to engage, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultures. Demonstrated high degree of judgement and the ability to understand the broader operating environment and deal appropriately with matters of a highly sensitive or confidential nature. Proven ability to deliver timely and quality results with multiple and competing priorities and tight deadlines. Highly developed written communication and analytical skills, including the ability to prepare and edit a wide range of ministerial and agency reports with a high level of attention to detail.
