About the Role We are seeking a safety-focused Vac Truck Operator with a current HR licence to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our civil and rail construction projects through safe and efficient non‑destructive digging, service location, and fluid removal operations. About Your Day Safely operate vac truck for non‑destructive digging, service locating, or site clean‑up. Perform daily pre‑starts, equipment checks and maintenance reporting. Assist crews with locating underground services and trenching tasks. Transport vac truck between project sites, complying with all road and site regulations. Work collaboratively with site supervisors and project teams. Ensure compliance with all WHS, environmental and quality management procedures. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of truck and vac unit. About You As the ideal candidate you will possess: Current HR Licence (essential). Experience operating Vac Trucks in civil or construction environments. Construction White Card. Strong understanding of safe work practices and traffic/site compliance. Familiarity with service locating, potholing, trenching or similar tasks highly regarded. Ability to work independently and follow clear instructions.
