Dental Receptionist

Full-Time candidate | Monday–Friday 9am - 5pm and every second Saturday 9am-1pm About Us We are a friendly, professional dental practice in Balmain dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our team is seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Receptionist who also has hands‑on experience as a Dental Assistant . About the Role This is a full‑time position for an individual who enjoys both front‑desk responsibilities and understanding the clinical side of dentistry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental reception experience and be familiar with sterilization procedures and infection control protocols from their assisting background. Full training and support will be provided ,Must Obtain a Dental assisting Certificate III . Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with a warm, professional, and caring approach Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Process payments, insurance claims, and patient records accurately Maintain confidentiality and ensure smooth office operations Coordinate with dental assistants and clinicians to support daily workflow Assist with sterilization and infection control procedures is a must Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to clinic protocols Maintain sterilization logs and infection control standards Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are properly prepared and maintained Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 year of experience as a dental receptionist with a Dental assisting background 6-12 months of dental assistant experience is required for this role Knowledge of instrument sterilization and infection control protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment Professional, friendly, and team‑oriented attitude Must have Australian work rights to be considered for this position Please send your resume and cover letter to *******@balmaindentist.com.au We look forward to welcoming you to our dental family #J-18808-Ljbffr
