Shape Patient Care in Queensland’s Remote Communities Join our Remote Facilities team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Relief) providing advanced clinical leadership, professional support, and expert consultancy across diverse remote Queensland communities. This permanent full-time role empowers you to influence patient outcomes, shape clinical practice and support nursing teams in delivering exceptional person‑centred care. About The Role As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (Relief) you will play a key leadership role across our remote facilities supporting the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, contemporary, and culturally responsive care. You will provide advanced clinical expertise while contributing to quality improvement, professional practice and service development across the region. In This Role, You Will Deliver advanced clinical leadership, expert assessment, and consultancy to support safe, person‑centred care. Partner with remote facility teams to enhance clinical capability, drive quality improvement, and support evidence‑based practice. Provide professional guidance, mentoring, and education to strengthen nursing practice across the care continuum. Support system improvements, policy implementation, and service redesign to meet emerging needs and organisational goals. Working with us for 1 year will get you an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$10,500… and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,000. In your downtime, we will provide 2 return airfares p.a. (inc. spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave; of which we offer 5 weeks p.a. with a 17.5% loading/bonus. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. A post graduate qualification or currently enrolled in a post graduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
