About the Role This PE-backed healthcare organisation is led by a stable management team who have overseen a protracted period of high growth via M&A and organic initiatives. The Head of Corporate Development is accountable for identifying, planning and executing the inorganic strategic growth plan including responsibility for M&A, business development programs and corporate strategic planning and implementation. Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and Business Unit leadership, this role enables and ensures successful achievement of financial and strategic targets, consistent with the company’s focus on excellence in healthcare services to patients, referrers, and hospitals. To succeed in this role, you will bring 10+ years ’ experience in an investment bank, private equity or commercial/financial management experience in a medium to large organization (ideally service related and healthcare). You will have demonstrable strengths in strategic planning, commercial and business acumen, as well as the ability to successfully manage and complete M&A transactions. You will have strong internal customer/client service focus, executive presence and the ability to drive outcomes. Responsibilities Identify, plan and execute inorganic strategic growth initiatives. Lead M&A processes from target identification to closing. Develop and implement business development programs. Drive corporate strategic planning and execution in collaboration with senior leadership. Ensure achievement of financial and strategic targets. Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or commercial/financial management within a medium to large organization. Ideally service‑related and within the healthcare sector. Demonstrable expertise in strategic planning and business acumen. Track record of managing and completing M&A transactions. Strong internal customer/client service focus and executive presence. Proven ability to drive outcomes and influence executive stakeholders.
