Sourcr Best Recruiter WA - IT / Telecommunications | Senior Consultant - Applications at Verse Group A 6-month contract opportunity is available for a Senior MuleSoft Developer to support the completion of a critical integration project and establish internal capability for long-term platform ownership. You will work closely with a project manager and engage directly with stakeholders to guide implementation, uplift technical understanding, and ensure the organisation can effectively manage MuleSoft moving forward. This role is suited to someone who knows MuleSoft intimately—both technically and strategically—and can step into a partially delivered environment, take ownership, and provide the technical leadership needed to drive the project to completion. The engagement will commence in January, with urgency around securing the right resource quickly. You Will Focus On Providing expert MuleSoft development across an existing platform, completing outstanding integration work, and training internal teams to become self‑sufficient. You will contribute to coding, solution design, knowledge transfer and general uplift of integration practices. The environment is data‑focused, with work contributing to a broader data platform initiative. You Should Have Minimum 7+ years of commercial MuleSoft experience Strong ability to implement, maintain and optimise MuleSoft environments Experience training and upskilling non‑specialist teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to take ownership in a fast‑moving project environment Confidence working independently while collaborating with a project manager Nice to Have Experience with data warehousing or broader data platform work Ability to advise on integration best practice and long‑term platform governance Additional Context This engagement involves stepping into a project already underway, completing critical deliverables, and ensuring the organisation is left with meaningful in‑house knowledge. You will be the primary MuleSoft expert, supporting both hands‑on development and structured training. The work has genuine community impact and sits within a supportive environment that values clarity, collaboration and long‑term capability building.
