Lawyer (2-4) & Senior Associate - Commercial Litigation - Sydney Our client is a leading top‑tier law firm that are seeking talented and dynamic Lawyers and a Senior Associate to join its Sydney team on a permanent, full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to advance their career in commercial litigation, class actions, and regulatory matters. Three roles available across two incredible teams. Litigation & Class Actions This team specialises in major complex commercial litigation and class actions, including high‑profile corporate disputes and regulatory investigations. You will work closely with senior lawyers on matters that involve both Australian and international clients. The team is seeking a 2‑4 year Lawyer. Key Responsibilities Drafting correspondence, advice, pleadings, and evidence. Briefing and liaising with counsel. Assisting with internal investigations and regulatory inquiries. Supporting clients in responding to inquiries from regulatory bodies. Managing both interlocutory and final proceedings. Skills & Experience 2–4 years post‑qualification (LLB or JD). Strong commercial litigation and/or regulatory experience. Familiarity with Supreme or Federal Court litigation. Collaborative, proactive and client‑focused. Commercial Disputes & Product Liability This team focuses on disputes arising from large‑scale commercial matters, including class actions, product liability and regulatory issues across sectors such as life sciences, consumer goods, automotive and financial services. You will gain experience working on both domestic and international matters as part of defence teams for leading clients. The team is looking for a Lawyer and a Senior Associate. Key Responsibilities Drafting correspondence and advice. Day‑to‑day file management and liaising with clients and counsel. Assisting with preparation of pleadings and evidence for proceedings. Advising on product regulatory and contentious commercial matters. Skills & Experience 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience for the Lawyer position and 4–6 years for the Senior Associate position. Experience in class actions or large‑scale commercial disputes. Experience within Product Liability for the Senior Associate position is essential. Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Collaborative, proactive and keen to take responsibility for own work.
