About the Role Student Wellbeing Support Officer (SWSO) to work at a Southwest Sydney school during school terms. The role is part‑time, 2 days a week, 8 hours per day, fixed‑term to December 2026 with potential for additional hours as needed. In this role, you will support children’s social and emotional development, delivering one‑on‑one support, small group activities and wellbeing programs that enhance emotional regulation, communication skills, and engagement in learning. About You We are looking for a compassionate, professional and committed individual who demonstrates empathy and a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people. Certificate IV in Youth Work, or Diploma in Ministry, Chaplaincy, Youth or Welfare At least 2 years’ experience working with children and/or young people Experience working in a school environment (group facilitation highly regarded) Demonstrated ability to build rapport, manage conflict and provide supportive guidance Understanding of issues affecting CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people Strong communication, organisational and computer skills Own reliable transport Highly regarded: Degree in education, social work, counselling or psychology Experience delivering wellbeing or resilience‑based programs Compliance Requirements Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for employment Current National Criminal History Check Why Join Us?
