As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our team in Sydney and help us grow our business.
Job Summary :
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering client projects from inception to completion, ensuring that the agreed-upon production standards are met.
This includes meticulous planning and management at every stage, from part specification and build quality to project budgeting, timelines, and supplier communication.
Job Duties :
Conduct consultation with clients to determine the requirements for design.
Produce 2D and 3D drawings of the product.
Manage project progress to ensure adherence to the time schedule.
Use SolidWorks for stress test simulations, testing the strength of structures and materials before production to reduce the risk of material failure.
Assemble and test prototypes.
Work with aluminium, metal, and plastic.
Design for mass production.
Fulfill customer orders in an organized and timely manner.
Software Used :
SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, Rhinoceros, V-Ray for Rhino.
Qualification Requirement :
Bachelor or above in relevant field.
Skill and Experience Required :
At least 2 years relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
Skills to plan, design, develop, and document industrial parts designs and specifications for mass or batch production.
Great visual and verbal communication skills.
Strong CAD skills - demonstrated proficiency in Surface Modelling & in the management of large, complex Assemblies.
A hands-on approach to problem solving.
