Private Advertiser Darwin NT Management (Hospitality & Tourism) Full-time $80,000 – $90,000 per year + Super About Us Our licensed café and rooftop bar are situated within an award‑winning accommodation venue overlooking Darwin Harbour. With daily café operations, a sunset rooftop bar, and a growing events schedule, we are seeking a talented and driven Food & Beverage and Promotions Manager to oversee and elevate our guest experience across all touchpoints. The Role This is a leadership role requiring hands‑on operational management and strong team supervision skills. You will report directly to the General Manager and oversee all aspects of F&B operations across: events and functions; social media promotions; and identifying solid business ideas. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage staffing, rosters, budgets, cost controls, supplier negotiations, and inventory across all venues. Monitor sales performance and profitability. Manage compliance with RSA and food safety regulations. Monitor food and beverage quality and quantity on a daily basis. Lead, motivate and roster a multidisciplinary & mainly international F&B team including baristas, bartenders, kitchen and event staff (when required). Facilitate training and mentoring for staff and supervisors. Conduct performance reviews and foster career development pathways. Be the point of call for staff issues and attendances and be prepared at all times to cover shifts for non‑attendances. Guest Experience & Quality Control Oversee the quality and consistency of food and beverage service. Lead a customer‑first culture ensuring an exceptional and welcoming guest experience. Respond to guest feedback and reviews constructively. Event & Function Coordination Work with the GM and events team to coordinate private functions, conferences, and promotional events. Oversee staffing and logistics for onsite events including setup, beverage service and close‑down. Assist in designing bar and food packages aligned with the venue’s branding and profitability targets. Requirements 5+ years’ experience in an F&B management or supervisory role. Background in both café and licensed bar environments preferred. Proven ability to manage multi‑outlet operations. Strong team‑building and communication skills. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices and WHS. Valid RSA and Driver’s Licence – essential. Full‑time work rights in Australia not requiring sponsorship. Why Join Us?
