Career progression Due to their experience and training, our graduates can progress their careers very quickly. Eighty-seven percent of graduates completing the program stay on to be employed by the Queensland Government post-program. Our graduates' salaries can increase up to $27,000 (based at AO5 level) or more after completing the 2‑year program. 1. As an indicator, the minimum AO3 rate under the State Government Entities Certified Agreements 2023 as at 1 July 2025 is $76,217. 2. The role follows global trends in hybrid ICT environments and researches cloud integration models, best practices and innovative solutions. Responsibilities Responsibilities in a cloud integration officer role may include: assisting in the planning and management of cloud application and infrastructure services into existing IT systems and cloud service to cloud service integration assisting to design logical models for components, integration flows and interfaces, that contribute to the development of cloud system architectures following project plans, design documents understanding business assurance and information security requirements contributing solutions to system integration issues. Ideal candidates Ideal candidates for a cloud integration officer role will have: the ability to analyse business requirements and offer solutions good research skills with the ability to capture research in succinct reports good interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to liaise with clients. Technical skills Knowledge of: ICT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, security, etc.) application and systems integration, interfaces, standards and middleware cloud computing platforms. Eligibility To be eligible for the Digital Graduate Program, you must: Have completed (or will complete) a Bachelor’s, Graduate Certificate, or Master’s degree between January-2023 and December 2026. If you have an overseas qualification, it must be recognised in Australia prior to applying.
