St Rita’s College invites applications for a compassionate and committed Diverse Learners Teacher Aide to join our Diverse Learners team from the commencement of the 2026 school year (19 January 2026). This is a part-time role, two days per week, supporting students across Years 5–12. This position works 7:30am - 3:30pm during the school term. Days of work are negotiable, offering flexibility for the successful applicant. About the Role The Diverse Learners Teacher Aide works closely with classroom teachers, Case Managers and the Head of Diverse Learners to support students with a range of learning needs. The role involves assisting with differentiated learning activities, providing in-class support, and contributing to an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key duties and responsibilities include Provide in-class support to students with diverse learning needs Assist with implementation of personalised adjustments and support strategies Work with students individually or in small groups under teacher direction Support literacy and numeracy programs where required Supervise and assist students in classroom and small-group settings Communicate with teachers and support staff regarding student progress Contribute to fostering an inclusive, respectful and safe learning environment Uphold the mission, values and Presentation charism of the College About you You will have: Experience working with students with diverse learning needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students A collaborative approach and willingness to follow teacher direction Good organisational skills and initiative Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent (preferred) A commitment to the values of Catholic education What we Offer St Rita's College also offers a range of generous benefits for our staff including: Competitive remuneration Staff training and development opportunities Regular social events & celebrations An inspiring and cohesive work environment Job requirements All staff are required to hold a current Working With Children Check (blue card) before commencing at the College.
