As a Psychologist at Toowoomba Hospital, you’ll support individuals, families and carers across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention for a wide range of emotional, behavioural and health related concerns. With roles available across oncology, haematology, palliative care and general medical rehabilitation, this position suits someone who values collaboration, steady clinical practice and meaningful connection with the local community. What your day will look like… You’ll meet with clients to understand their needs, develop evidence‑based treatment plans and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care. You’ll contribute to case discussions, provide guidance to students or early‑career staff, and take part in service improvement activities. Whether you’re helping a patient adjust to a new diagnosis, supporting a family through a difficult time or collaborating with colleagues on care planning, your work will reflect the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage that guide Darling Downs Health.
