You'll support participants with diverse abilities, helping them develop new skills, engage in community activities, and build meaningful relationships. Each day is unique – you might assist someone in going to the gym, participating in group activities, learning public transport, cooking a meal, preparing for a job interview, or getting ready for the day ahead. It's all about what they want to achieve. Lifeskills program goals aim to : Assist participants to develop life skills in the wider community by building independence skills with day-to-day tasks (e.g. cooking, daily living supports) Assist participants to develop skills to prepare for independent living (money handling, budgeting, transport training) Assist participants to access activities that will help them maintain their health and wellbeing (bowling, multisport, swimming) Assist participants to achieve their goal of customised employment, which involves helping people with disabilities get a job. What We Offer Teamwork : Work alongside dedicated colleagues in a fun and energetic environment. Available Shifts Monday to Friday, including some Saturdays. Competitive Pay : Including salary sacrifice up to $18,550 per annum, superannuation, and leave loading. Training & Support : Ongoing development with opportunities for Certificate III and IV qualifications. About You Passionate about helping others. Able to work autonomously and with varied support needs. Capable of performing low-level personal care. Moderately fit and adaptable to changing demands. Efficient in completing records and reports. Available to work a minimum of four (4) days across Monday-Friday, hours can be between 8am-5pm. Experience working with Behaviour Support Plans. Requirements Previous experience supporting people with disabilities. Working with Children Check. Valid National Police Clearance (within 3 months). Right to work in Australia. Roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle (kms reimbursed). Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent. Manual Handling training.
